Reasons, correction and review

Consumer rights and disputes

Effective 24 August 2026 · Version 1.0

CreditCheck supports institution-managed rights workflows. The lender or reporting institution remains the primary contact for a specific application, account or financial record.

Available requests

  • Ask what data and sources were used where applicable.
  • Request correction of inaccurate identity or credit information.
  • Withdraw consent where processing depends on consent, subject to lawful retention.
  • Request meaningful reasons and human review for an adverse outcome.
  • Open and track a dispute without retaliation.
  • Complain to the responsible institution or applicable authority.

How to start

Contact the institution shown on your application or account and provide only the reference information it requests. For a CreditCheck privacy concern that the institution cannot resolve, contact compliance@duruj.io.

What CreditCheck does not do

CreditCheck does not independently approve credit, change an institution ledger, erase legally required evidence or guarantee that correcting one source changes every downstream institution decision.

Safety

Never email passwords, one-time codes, full payment-card data or unnecessary identity documents. Approved support channels will explain secure evidence submission when required.

Questions and formal requests

Email compliance@duruj.io for privacy and data-subject matters, or sales@duruj.io for institutional enquiries. Contract notices must use the address specified in the applicable agreement.
